Agu is something special. He was born with a shiny red heart that is full of empathy and optimism. As a young bear, full of energy, he didn't understand why he should hide in the dark and not play with his friends, as were the accepted norms in the dark forest. So he went out, singing and dancing, and his joyful look on life transformed the whole forest into a happy, open, and welcoming community.

Agu knows all the forest’s little secrets because everybody trusts him and talks to him for advice and guidance. He always listens with his right ear, and that's probably why it is a bit bigger than the left one. He is a good listener and also tells the best stories.

Like all bears, Agu likes to sleep, a lot, and loves honey. He won't admit it, but sometimes he can eat a whole pot of honey at once. Olaf saw him once but didn't tell anyone, he just takes Agu to his rootfit exercise, to keep him in good shape.
